Nice words from a Kamaina and sincerely appreciated.

But only a small part of what you said is factual.... and I knd'a gotta thank some of your North Shore neighbors for some of the favorable attributes you find in myself.

And you might know a few of them such as Reverend Saul (Kahuna, Alison Brundage (Hahuku nurse), Tommy Kono, Timmy Leong ... and a dozen or so other true Hawaiians at heart who always gave me a shit-load of grief when I saw the negative side of an individual's situation.

No intent to get overly mushy here but you and I were neighbors once, but now after 45 years of living in Paradise, I still find myself trying to think how one of the 'locals' would respond to a 'neighbor's' problem... and this positive stuff just comes out.

Yoi live there now, so I'm sure you see what I'm trying to explain every day ... or at least once a week for sure.

OPPS! Well then we wern't neighbors at the same time then. I lived in the last beach-house along side the creek water run across from the old dairy farm. We were somewhat famous for administering first aid to the surfers in our 'back-yard'.

The PAPA's TACO 'lunch wagon' always parked across from the house. You might even recall Michael, Kevin, and Eric who are about your age or a couple years younger ... or possibly Steve Dussia.

Yeah, you're probably getting me mixed up with another guy who also lived in Hawaii around that time. We could pass as twins and people were always confusing us. He eventually grew a mustache to established his "identity." I wasn't that insecure it didn't bother me. I can't remember his name... it's on the tip of my tongue. I still have some pictures of him so it might jog your memory.

Seriously, if you trim his hair a bit and shave off his mustache we'd look exactly the same.

What an interesting fellow you are, Benoitlapierre. The first two pages of this thread really got my attention. I am not sure whether you are being brutally honest or pulling our leg here, but either way you show a lot of courage. Obviously, you have few delusions about your life choices and you live completely in the moment. You're still very young, your attitude about some things may change in the next few years.

Just so you know, you are at an age when some guys start getting hairy in places they never were....it gets worse the older you get. I know, I am sixty-seven. I have more hair in my ears then I do on my head. LOL! My lower legs started going bald, while my back became ape like. You can get electric clippers that help maintain a more human appearance no matter where you need to groom. I have special long handled clippers just for my back. -Tried having my back waxed. Hurt like shit, cost too much and the hair grew back just as fast as it does when I clip it.

Your posts prove that it doesn't require good grammar or English skills to get one's message across. You do just fine. You have a a lot of style and a certain appearance of honesty. That is refreshing.
