Can someone define what a "Guy" film is?

Is it one that contains mostly an all male cast with homoerotic undertones?  ???
It means films you and a group of any type of guys are guaranteed to be able to sit down and watch. Not to be confused with homo films, or man cave films(shit with shitty acting, lames jokes, or pointless macho shit)

I hate to pull a "KEITH" on you guys but I know or have worked with some of these actors you have mentioned and I have to let you know that in the majority of cases the persona they portray on screen is far far different than who they actually are in real life.

Lee Marvin was similar to the characters he played on screen and I'm proud to say he spent time in the Corps when the serving was extra tough.

There were many top Hollywood actors, producers, directors, etc., who served time under actual combat conditions during WWII and some who even flew many missions over German occupied battlefields without getting their asses shot off.

But in the majority of cases, what you see on screen is not what you get in real life settings.

That's a pro film or a mancave film. Note the difference not trying to start an argument or anything, but there's a difference between a film that every guy should appreciate like fight club, and a film that chicks hate.

Actors back in those days were actual men. Now a days we are stuck with a bunch of pussy liberal fagg*ts in hollywood.

DUTCH, biggest pussy!!?

I have my own personal opinion on that but I don't know enough of these guys to set up a sliding scale regarding your question.

That and the fact that I was trained to avoid negatives which most GetBiggers seem to thrive upon.

But let me say this in a half assed attempt to answer your question.

The person you seek above never served time in the military.

(As you can most likely see, I have a shit-load of respect for anyone who has served time in the military under combat situations ... so those are the Hollywood types I most respect regardless of the movies they appear in.)

Hey!  Didn't you hear?  It is not how much you lift, it is how much it looks like you can lift.   ;D

Hollywood is an illusion.  Movies are entertainment.  Ultimate question is, "Is the movie good and fun to watch?"  I could care less if the actor portraying a character is as bad-ass or cool as the character he portrays.  Just want to know if he is a good actor and the movie worth my spending $10 for a ticket.

Women have no part in this one way or the other. As much as you love to hate on pretty boys, brad pitt was pretty good in that movie. He's a solid actor, so are most so called hunks, women don't just love them because there good looking, they like that they can convey emotion, and have real talent. That's why so called pretty boys make the best guy films, they create believable gritty characters, with no half acting or playing  themselves.
