I'm sorry, I just don't get it. The squeaky-voiced kid is a total fatass for 7 weeks out. Even by normal gymrat standards, he's not only smooth as a bar of soap, the way he waddles around with his non-existent lats perpetually spread is embarrassing. The black guy that picked on him in that last squat video was a total prick ("Oh, I gots 2000 frients on Facebook!" Who gives a flying fuck?! Most "friends" on Facebook are about as close to true friends as Saddam Hussein and some flunkie who, should he make one wrong move, finds himself on the wrong end of an AK. Real friends would take a bullet for you. Facebook friends are barely bothered to write when you post about a loved one dying.)
Then again, dat personal trainah probably got tired of Jason and his ass-licking entourage running around the gym filming the kid grunting like a 9-year-old taking a big shit on every rep of every set. That doesn't excuse that dumbass jerk's behavior, but I can't say I totally blame the guy for overseeing that spectacle day in, day out and getting fed up with it.
As much as I want to like this kid, the bottom line is either he's the ultimate piss-taker or he's deranged. I see nothing gained by egging a mentally-ill person on to chase snipe. If you really give a shit about him, encourage him to actually man up, exercise some real self-discipline and
lose enough bodyfat to stand onstage at 6% like any good local level competitor. Otherwise, you have to know you're just pushing him to walk out grossly out of shape where people will literally
laugh at him, much as they did during the Goodrum and Billy Gunns standoff.
I'm far removed from the flock. When it comes to bandwagon appeals, I'm usually the last to jump on. But when thousands upon thousands of people are making fun of someone who is clearly deluded, I honestly don't think feeding the target bullshit like "you're the best, mass monster Jason" will help him in the long run. Chances are fair, perhaps decent, that he will keep banging his head against this wall until he realizes his life's purpose has been for nothing, at which point he'll lose his sole sense of identity. The consequences of that for a retarded or Asperger's type like him often result in suicide or institutionalization. Normal people can learn to cope, but the ... sub-normal, shall we say, interpret failure to realize their singular dream = failure in life altogether.
I honestly wish someone would steer him toward powerlifting or another strength-oriented endeavor rather than facilitate this insane bullshit about him turning pro within five years
