and people wonder about how harmful mega dosing anabolics is?

these fuckers have unimaginably abused their bodies for decades with booze and drugs and are still kicking, but whatever you do dont run 700 mg of tren a week for too long as its really toxic!

 :D

Good point, but the resident god of hormones claims that the abuse of narcotics and dieuretics are the icing on the cake... no?

To me, Guns N' Roses is only about one record: Appetitie For Destruction.

This seems to be the general consensus among the true fans, i mean how on earth could they have possibly topped it? In a way the success of the album killed the band in the same way it made them household names and multimillionaires - it drove Axl insane knowing they had peaked on their first attempt.

Almost a flawless album IMO to this day, i do not tire of it and hope i never will.

I dunno man... Guns is really only famous for having one GREAT album and a couple of decent ones.

They have put out just as many shit albums as they have good ones.

CD was a complete letdown to me. :'(
As everyone else says it's music so it is totally subjective. I like all the releases including chinese democracy. I just wished he would have released it under a different band name.

Getting old & fat apparently stop you being able to sing & play the piano, who'da thunk it.

Note to self; just because you use a les-paul & a bunch of Marshall's does not guarantee it will sound like Slash, that guitar solo was fucking awful  :-X

Very disappointing.

IF GNR had died in a plane crash in 92... about 2 minutes before the Ullusion records came out -

THey would have gone down in history as the greatest R&R band ever.  Kinda the way skynard's overrated ass didn't get a chance to get old and lame.  Jimi would have been another clapton by age 42, still playing the same feedback and poor vocals.

they were kinda selfish to not go down in a blaze of glory.

True. Anything pre-1993 was vintage GnR -the Spaghetti Incident was an awful album and they basically collapsed from that point on.

That was just an album of punk rock covers.

That album was such a dissapointment. The only thing good about it was the front cover, not appropriate for a RnR album but looks tasty :D

Jimi, was bored of the whole x1 trick pony show. He was tired of just using the Pentatonic (x5 tone blues scale) with some occasional wandering into the aeolian mode. he wanted to explore the entire modal system, learning to play over changes & go more places with his music. He was hooking up with Miles Davis just before he died (this, sadly never happened).

Clapton has stuck to the same old shite, pop & blues.

Jimi, rocked the music world with his approach, & IMO would have continued to do so even if it meant leaving the conventional power trio & R&R behind.
I think he would still be a pioneer  ;)
