Recently went to the Reagan Library in Simi Valley. We also walked through his AF1 plane but were unable to take pics inside...there are pics on a DVD we didn't get. Thought some of you might like to see some pics.

Duplicate of Oval Office decorated as he had it.

They said it was 1/3 of the size of the current AF1

Inside was definitely not overly fancy...nothing like you see in the pics of today's AF1.

There were ~12 (?) seats for the press...they said the press drew from a type of lottery to see who could travel w/the Pres. on AF1...they had to buy a ticket at the first class rate plus one dollar (I think they said it's that way now as well [?])
