You do realize that olympic lifts are explosive lifts and usually done FIRST in the program then SUPPLEMENTAL lifts are done second......right? The key word is SUPPLEMENTAL and on a certain day during a usual program they might incorporate an hypertrophy day.

SIGH. THEY STILL NEVER G0 AB0VE 3 REPS 0N TH0SE SUPPLEMENT LIFTS SUCH AS SQUATS AND FR0NT SQUATS. IN FACT, THE BULGARIAN TEAM N0 L0NGER D0ES BACK SQUATS. THEY 0NLY SUPPLEMENT LIFT THEY D0 IS THE FR0NT SQUAT. REGARDLESS, DID Y0U EVEN READ MY P0ST? BECAUSE Y0U'RE TALKING AB0UT S0METHING C0MPLETLY DIFFERENT. BY THE WAY 0LYMPIC LIFTS ARE N0T ALL P0WER. IT TAKES AN EN0RM0US AM0UNT 0F STRENGTH T0 CLEAN AND JERK 2-3 TIMES Y0UR B0DYWEIGHT.

GENETICS DICTATES H0W BIG Y0UR LEGS WILL BE YES. THAT WASN'T MY P0INT. I'M SAYING REP RANGES D0N'T DICTATE MASS. L00K AT S0ME 0LYMPIC WEIGHTLIFTERS. THEY HAVE L0NG LEGS, SH0RT T0R0S, AND C0ULD BE L0NG DISTANCE RUNNERS. ESPECIALLY THE CHINESE, BUT ALL HAVE MASSIVE LEGS. WHY? TRAINING WITH HEAVY WEIGHTS BUILDS MASS. PLAIN AND SIMPLE.

Lots of drugs builds mass. End of talkie time.

This is where you're confused. It's not strength, it's power. There's a difference. Let me ask you a question. When the coaches put together the training protocols for these athletes, why do suppose they keep between 1-3 reps with a 3-5min rest between sets? I'll give you a hint....... "energy systems".

ARE Y0U SAYING Y0U D0N'T NEED STRENGTH T0 CLEAN AND JERK 3 TIMES Y0UR B0DY WEIGHT? IF Y0U ARE THEN THIS DEBATE IS 0VER. Y0U NEED EN0RM0US BACK, LEG, AND SH0ULDER STRENGTH T0 HANDLE THAT KIND 0F WEIGHT.

Did I said that?  ::)

You said  "IT'S INCREASING THE WEIGHT AND TRYING T0 D0 M0RE THEN WHAT Y0U DID LAST TIME" . That's not right in my experience. I tried it I had a notebook with the number of series, reps and poundages lol. Sorry, I gained strength but did nothing for muscle, infact I think I lost muscle I'm not joking. My diet was in check btw.

But in the long run yes you need to lift heavier weights, but NOT after every workout.

P0WER IS A C0MB0 0F STRENGTH AND SPEED. 0LYMPIC LIFTERS USE  STRENGTH AT A FAST RATE.

Dummy - read the word SUPPLEMENTAL again.. they dont just sit there doing there lifts in the 1-3 range - theres more to there training than that -, they also peak for comps.. hypertrophy training is part of there full routines.
