Hey Bob...I thought you did a really nice job.....actually you were quite realistic as an underground fighter....and I love that "motherfuckerrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrr"....scream....very realistic....you did a good job with what you were given....

have you ever taken any acting classes Bob?...I'm not joshing you when I say that you had the body, looks, and charisma to maybe make a few more movies in that genre

Good job, BOB!

I've seen a few movies that were shown before the final sound track was added and such movies were watchable but definitely not enjoyable.

The sound of music and foot-steps, gun shots and punches are added to a sound track once the scenes are shot and it is an expensive process.

So most likely Bob's film footage was released as a work in progress to screen to possible investors for additional working capital.

And if enough money was received .... the film would be completed with a professional sound track added.

Right now two family members are waiting for the release of two films that were shot five years ago, but which lack the funds to complete.

And there are many situations such as this in the movie business.

YOU can even purchase an incomplete film, take it home. and finish it yourself if you really want to.

good a guess as any, bill....I think you're probably right.  I just happened to stumble on it, as to my knowledge, nothing ever came of it...probably lacking in funds.  hopefully the guys wh shot it will get something ou of it.  it was fun to shoot, anyway...

you do realize it's a movie, right?  what you do on film is much different than in real life...angles, lighting, making it look like you're actual making contact...are all obstacles when filming.

Yea, Bob, the lack of funds to complete a project is somewhat common in the movie industry .... especially Independents.

ANd even the major studios have a library full of unfinished films just stored away waiting for a better day.

Nice jab and left hook  Chick  but you have to work more  on your defense (head movement) overall 8/10 good job Chick.

CHE, I thought you left .... but it's good to see you didn't.

In an earlier post you asked GetBiggers who they'd most likely want to look like ... and quite a few wished they looked like the bigger guy.

That surprised me because the photos you submitted seemed to me to be a picture of a guy on the fat/bulky side and the smaller guy appeared to be in top muscular condition ...... meaning that he looked a hell of a lot better and had more 'functional muscle' ... meaning he could do ordinary, daily chores  and run a mile or two without having a heart attack.

I find it strange that most Getbiggers see it somewhat differently.

The muscular kid would excel in Boot Camp while the bigger guy would wash out within 24 hours or get waylaid in a program for overwt guys that showed some promise.

What was the reason for you posting that? It did prove to be interesting when I read the unexpected responses.

CHE, Read above couple of posts. I think its answered....  but it surprised me that a few GerBiggers preferred to resemble the powerlifter rather than the lighterwt 'functional muscle' guy and I guess I wonder if those responses surprised you also.

Other than that ... all is well.

BOB, I might be mistaken here but I  kind of think that Reeves' 1st Hercules movie (Hercules Unchained) was shot, canned, shelved,  and then purchased by Dino DeLaurentis who released it worldwide.... making Reeves a major star even though he couldn't act... giving Dino(?) the clout to  go on to bigger things and one hell of a career within the Hollywood movie production   and distribution world.

Moral of this possibly factual discourse = Never give up when you got your foot in the door, even if a couple of toes get broken in the process.

Gotta test BOB on this one cause this is his posting topic and he should know the answer as a qualified thespian (I gotta look that one up.)

BOB, Name Reeves 1st big movie and what was his role?
Name his 1st daily TV show.
Name Arnold's 1st motion picture role. his co-star, Arnold's movie credit name, and who he played in that movie.
Name Draper's 1st major motion picture.

Thanks, CHE Is that you in the gray shirt with a friend in the yellow shirt?

If so ... you would have totally dominated any and all BB conpetitors back in the 60's before the game took the turn in a different direction.

Kind of a related topic here which some of you somewhat negative GetBiggers might find of interest.

I have a good friend in the movie business who specializes in Grade B action films as a background side-kick or the bad guy who the hero always beats up  ...

And for the pqst five years he has been working on writing his own script with a lot of encouragement from movie people who depend on movie making for their survival and livlyhood.

He finished it and registered it with the SWG and asked me to read it for corrections and comments.

I managed to get to page 3 before I fell asleep and made it to page 6 the second night,
By week's end I got to the final page and fell asleep once again.

It was the most boring read I've ever experienced and realizing how important this script was to him, I  tried to find a way  to tell him that it stunk and should be used to swat flies with.

Instead I simply said that it was a sure cure for insomnia .... and with no reaction whatsoever he slapped another script on my desk saying, "OK, read this one. It's the sequel .... and much better."

And off he went for a closeup or a scene in which he gets mauled and eaten by some deranger Polar Bear in the vicinity of Lake Tahoe  ... a very nice location for a B movie shoot.

This guy never gives up and one day one of his scripts will be made into a movie. but writers gotta keep on writing because they are most likely low man on the totem pole when the paymaster comes to call.

Now back to reading sequel 2.

CHE. Brian is damn impressive for a smaller, natural competitor.

I just realized that the attached photo is also Brian but I always assumed it was a shot of Dan Decker.

Thanks for the update as I never heard of Brian before and it's too bad that Brian and other contenders with exceptional builds such as his cannot get some form of Pro Card to encourage them to stay with it.

Maybe an NPC/IFBB Classical Division should be in order.
