As an alternative to occupying Wall Street... There should be a movement called "Occupy MAIN Street".
All the protesters should go home, do a google search on "How to start a business", then open up shop. They have all the wisdom and skills in the world, thanks to the very expensive degrees they've been bragging about. Let them show everyone how things SHOULD be done in the business world.
If they offer a higher quality level of personalized service, they will be able to overtake such global monopolies on Business such as Wal-Mart. If they offer a better understanding of their product or service, customers will flock to them. One side effect of globalization is that customer service now sucks... you aren't buying paint from a painter who worked 'in the field' for 20 years then opened a paint store. You're buying it from an undertrained cashier at the Walmart ammo/fishing/paint counter.
So in my humble opinion, the protesters should put their training, wisdom, and passion to better use. Occupy Wall Street by leaving, Starting your own business on Main Street, building up your own success... then let Wall Street come to you. (At which point you'll happily sell out and go corporate, but that's another thread...)
