I thought Gunter looked pretty good before I met him after the 2003 Mr.O. He hardly had any abs, legs looked funky. He had mass though... Another guy that pulled of an amazing Heath kinda illusion was Troy Alves. He looked very average in clothes and backstage, to transform when going on stage... Gunter was the opposite.

Gunter looked good at his peak but it was all of five seconds.  Some guys like Ronni, Dorian, Haney, Cutler, Dexter, Rhul, etc. look good for years.  Gunter looked good for maybe 1-2 years.  Seriously, why is that?  Obviously, he was still training, supplementing etc.  Why was his window of looking good so short?  ???

Gunter is cool as fuck. Met him at Fitness Festivalen in sweden last year.
His waist is the widest ever tho.

gunter was hyped for years only because uncle joe had a huge hardon for his tall blonde german looks, was very average for years, probly had the widest waist in bodybuilidng...

dont think so. cormier was way over rated. he always looked sinewy and lacking mass in the legs, and his read poses werent great.

Gunther had Ronnie at least twice.

Great physique. His abs and thigh shot wasnt good, but neither was Jays and he won the O several times.

i have also wondered that, it seems to happen to a few people they burst on the scence place really well and then nothing. gustavo was the same, all be it he was around a bit longer and won a show or 2 but he was only really relivant for about 4 years or so...

Easily Gunter...any bodybuilder who is 6' and over are impressive, no matter what.  Gettin' tired of the compact midget train that is Branch, Cutler, Dexter and all the others.

4 years of relevance is very respectable.  Gunter was relevant for six months... one year, tops.  Remember a young, beautiful Roland Cziurlock?  Relevant for all of six months.  :(
