So you believe that if someone makes more than you, you're entitled to a portion of what they make? Why?

Where I'm from EVERYONE pays taxes right out of their asses.. even those on welfare because of the high sales tax. This whole rich vs. poor debate when it comes to taxes is really non-existent here.

We've got 'free' healthcare, 'free' education etc but it's not paid by a hardworking few, it's paid by EVERYONE. That's a superior system in my book.

Yeah but theirs a 37 pages long obnoxious diatribe in another thread get the fuck out.

See, there are a few principal differences between us:

I have my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Engineering, and my MBA.

I have spent close to 20 years in the engineering field.

I can spell.

So fuck off "Mr. Junior in College".

Because a reasonable goal for a society is to seek the biggest common good. And sometimes that can be achieved by taking from the rich and spreading it around.

First good post i've seen from you. Ironic how TA, who as you described, which is all true starts a thread like that. I am sure his dead parents would be so happy with how his life is turning out. Shame!
Lolz it's kinda ironic he's the one arguing against the libs, and I'm the one for. In regular life I'm fuckin known a right wing fascist on here I'm some fuck socialist obama lover. The site is crazy unbalanced when you start talking about anything political. It gets old fast.
Hah, oh bro... seriously.

In Europe the south is dead - North is stronger than ever.
America meanwhile is just a rotting corpse. It has zero future unless it totally reforms itself, and I don't believe they can do it. You know, very backwards people with strong hold on traditions they don't want to change.
USA is currently eating itself alive. It's over.

Lolz greek spain italy britan and ireland are the problem ironic since there the only places in europe us american's have even heard of.

You don't care who you're talking to, as long as they stay away from your money, is that it?

No Chimps, if I earn it I should have the choice on who I want to give it too. Of course I understand I have to pay taxes but to say should evenly distribute it because someone doesn't have the drive (lazy) is a crock of shit.

Well, I asked, as you weren't addressing any one person.

The above TMI suggests that you are overly concerned about it.  ;)

Parts of europe have a far better outlook than america, unlike europe america has no way to drop the dead wait, central europes economy can still hold strong if they can drop the dead wait that is the south.

You're not from Europe, I am. Trust me, scandinavian culture is so, so fucking different from western culture. Great example is Denmark, where you can leave your kids outside of restaurant and strangers will take care of them, you don't have to worry about them. You don't have to worry about your bikes when you leave them alone outside of shop. It's superior in many ways and this kind of economy is actually possible there.

By the way, my friend's roommate in dorm have stolen bike from Denmark when he was there. He couldn't restist stealing something unlocked and not secured. That's pathetic and clearly shows modern Polish mentality. Just look what 40 years of communism did to this once great and proud country.

His jewish parents left him a home in an upscale part of norcal when he was in his early 20s, so he could easily be in the 1 percent(epic guilt me thinks).
