Yep.  It's everything people say it is, plus more.  It's a privilege to live here.  The people are just as beautiful as the environment.  It's expensive, but not much more than most other big cities.

But for thousands of years races developed separately.

Fixed it for you to make it more relevant to what's going on today. Take one look at the behavior of blacks. It is now acceptable for blacks to spit on and knockout disabled white women.

Racism exists in Hawaii, but on a much smaller scale.  You'll always have idiots who have preconceived notions about one race or another. 

"Haoles" do quite well in Hawaii.  Our current governor is a mainland haole.  Our last governor is a mainland haole.  Our current mayor is a mainland haole.  But that really has nothing to do with the point I was addressing. 

I was addressing your statement:  "You can't possibly claim to favor another race over your own."  What race does Obama favor?  I have a friend who is half black, half Palauan, married to a half Palestinian, half German.  They have kids.  What race do they favor?  What about my Korean business partner married to a white man?  You don't see how stupid that is?
