A lot less bounce than some previously posted examples. And no straps!

What do you think my max would be? I've gotten 500 for 1 after three heavy workiing sets. So not a proper warm-up for a pb.

Why do you think the 1000lb barrier has been broken recently on the DL, but the raw bench WR hasn't really increased much of late? Improvements in deadlift suit tech? A guy I lift with is getting 80-100 out of his DL suit now, I've never used one but didnt it used to be more like 40-50.

Older deadlift suits gave about 35-50lbs. Some guys that have mastered it and are using the latest generation of suits tend to get 70-100lbs out of them(70-80 seems like the average). They tend to help more at the starting/bottom position of the lift. Also, I tend to think that many of the bigger deadlifters are carrying a tiny bit more muscle than even the larger guys of the 80's. It's a tiny bit, but still they do seem to be better conditioned.

Stoyan Todorchev has a 880lb deadlift

Gary Heisey (1990's) He had a #925 dead at like 6' 8"

(training footage at 1:40)-

Wildauer Martin has an 880 deadlift

Poundstone has an 880 deadlift

Brad Gillingham has an 881lb deadlift

Mark Felix has a 891lb deadlift

Kevin Knee has an 903-905 deadlift

Misha Koklaev has a 891lbs deadlift

Chuck Fought has a 900lb Deadlift

Savickas has done a 994 hummer deadlift so I wouldn't coun't big Z out

Vlad Alhazov has a 925lb deadlift

Mark Henry has an 935lbs deadlift (1990's)

Ed Coan has done 901lbs deadlift (1990s)

Doyle Kenady 1980's one of the first Americans to dead over #900 at #305 bw -

.

Konstantin Konstantinovs -

.

There's a a good look at the builds of a decent selection of high 800's-900's lifters. Many of the new guys seem to be carrying a tiny bit more muscle now or or are just a bit bigger overall.

A "dead"lift isn't lifted touch and go, but with a reset. Otherwise it's not a DEAD lift.

Still crazy strong.
