Arnold crushing the competition at the 1980 Mr Olympia

Not sure who started this whole controversy thing back in the day.  But the only people who keep it going are sheep who have never seen the pictures/videos or retarded Mike Menzter fans.

Arnold only prepared 8 weeks until the 1980 Mr Olympia.  I am sure that's why most were pissed.  Because it took them all year to get prepared and they still got shit on by the Oak.

Arnold in in 1980 was not a prime Arnold.  Prime Arnold was 73/74.  Arnold in 1980 was maybe 70-80% Arnold.  His conditioning upper body was pretty good, legs not so much.  He didn't have as much mass.  Still had great lines and had enough mass to take on anyone at this Olympia though.

So let me clear it up once and for all.

LOL at the Menzter fans.

MENZTER WAS NARROW.  No chest, shitty back, and a gut.  Only thing he had were decent arms but Arnold's were still the BEST.

Arnold is the greatest of all time.  He looked fantastic at every showing he ever did.  1980 was not prime was fantastic physique none the less.






lol at people defending Frank Zane.  Frank had some good olympias but this year was utter shit.  anyone who defends this physique is a fucktard.

its funny for years i heard about this olympia, how mentzer was robbed arnold looked like shit and shouldnt have won, etc etc.  then i finally saw the pictures and really didnt see it. arnold legs were not great but were not so far behind anyone else, better than some even. arms and chest best at show. back again not great but holding its own against others. he dwarfed everyone at the show, as well, and conditioning was fairly even across the board (no one looked 'great').  he deserved it as much as anyone else in the show.
