for me, it doesn't matter where this would happen, I of course would not walk away without doing nothing. But I am not a doctor or an expert full of experience of first aid to this type of extreme case, and from the video, I can see the girl is in extreme danger after hit and ground by two vehicles.I can't even judge if she is alive. Meaningless and improper help might be worse or kill the girl.

I would call the police and ambulance, but I also would ask other passers-by to be my witness to prove that I am the person who called for help but not the person who perpetrated the crime.

Well, don't be too hard on those who ignored the little girl.  It states in the paragraph that in China, you can be prosecuted for breaking government rules on assisting accident victims.  But it still stinks to high heaven.

The girl lived but is in serious condition, and most likely will be a vegetable if she survives.  The news (a different video) said that if anyone of the 1st three bypassers had helped the girl before the second truck ran over her, the injuries would have been much less severe.

While the onlookers' reactions are appalling, the first truck driver is just filth, after realizing he ran over a person, he continues on and runs over her with his back tire.  I heard they caught him, hope he dies, but most likely won't.
