Yea, SHOW, me too! We had some good times trying to take the casino's money and we were talking about that today at a gathering of Keith's old friends.
Keith's uncle and good friend (also a good friend of Chuck Norris and others who Keith had mentioned many times in earlier posts) was once a High Roller in some of the better Las Vegas casinos and Keith always noticed that he'd win a huge amount of money on the number "9", so Keith would always bet a big wad of his gambling bankroll on the "9" and wait for the big money to roll it.
And "9" did pay off a few times but never enough to cover his previous losses.
But when he was on a winning streak, I'd stop by the talble every 15 minutes or so and to receive a handful of chips and carry them off to the casino cage for conversion into US dollars before he lost them all.l
In most casees while he was winning that trip to the casino cage enabled him to leave that casino with more money than he entered with.
But it was never enough to cover his earlier losses.
I am sort of an expert at knowing the odds on every bet you can place on the Craps table and a straight $10 bet on the number"9" without the appropriated Odds Bet is not the smartest bet in the house, but that was impossible to explain to Keith merely because his uncle had won a lot of money while placing the "9" many years earlier.
But tthe casinos always appreciated Keith's action though and we never left that table without a compt meal or two or three.
Sorry! Off track here but I felt it was time to tell a Keith story of a sorts.
