Freed Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit arrived safe and sound in his northern Israeli hometown, feeling "good" in his first day of freedom after more than five years in Hamas captivity, but suffering small injuries from shrapnel wounds.

In what was an arduous and emotional day for Israelis and Palestinians, Shalit won his release Tuesday morning in exchange for 1,027 Palestinian prisoners, whose walk to freedom drew cheers from thousands in Gaza and the West Bank.

Can you say WOW, Israel shows it's true colors, trading for one of their terrorists for 1,027 Palestinian civilians, just wow, so Israel in essence only puts the value of a Palestinian life @ 1/1000 for every Israeli, very humanitarian, congratulations boys!

Isreal has exercised incredible restraint in dealing with terrorists over the years. Yes, they have retaliated when appropriate but have not gone out of their way to maim and kill innocents like Hamas and others have.

We give them BILLIONS a year and have for decades, and all they do for us is steal what we wont give them.

Israel USED to be a bit of a strategic asset, but that ended after the cold war. They do nothing for us now. They leech off of us and to show their thanks they fuck us up the ass every chance they get.

If you want to know exactly what is going on, let me recommend a book, it is called "The Israel Lobby and US Foreign Policy."

It is a non biased report written by a pro-Israeli (in the sense that they have the right to exist) American Jew, and he tears the Israel Lobbies a new asshole, and shows Americans how we are being manipulated.
