Im 38yrs old and kedney problms high blood and have diabtes im weighin in at 365lbs. im just stratin to hit the gym everyday now.... I do 25mins on the bike then hit the free weights doin a body part a day then another 5 to 10 min walkin on the tread...... tryin to eat right takin in 1500 to 2000 cals a day... Befor i got sick i was 225lbs. workin out everyday doin shows me and my brother then he went into a coma...... I got so much insulin the r and the n. i dnt have to take it anymore so thy put me on metformin 1000mg twice aday. So if anyone good point me in the right direction I really do need it thanks.....
I have diabetes as well....I have been lifting for years and was big and strong but had a pot belly as well...got up to 270 lbs and realized I was having trouble walking and running even though I was really strong and guys on the street would complement me on how big I was....I was constantly out of breath...I got diabetes and went on Metformin and Glipizide.....got to the point where it wasn't working and realized I had to lose weight so my body would process the insulin it produces properly......
Stopped doing weights every day and began hitting the bike like you.....I do it everyday without fail for at least 40 minutes and I work out with weights every two days along with the bike.....the bike is awesome..I am burning so many calories.....my stomach is going down steadily....I hated the tread mill but I now work it in three times a week for 20 minutes.....up your minutes to 40 on the bike..it takes 20 minutes just to get your body to start burning fat....run on the treadmill 20 minutes three times a week to switch things up, but after the 20 minute treadmill run, go and start your bike work so that it adds up to one hour of cardio.....do all of this on an empty stomach first thing in the morning without eating......I can still eat whatever I want as long as I don't overdo it and I am still losing weight
The weight will pour off you in no time..but you are big guy so it will take a few months..but you have to be dedicated and do it every day..take one day off a week if you are tired
