Thanks guys for keeping my pops in your prayers. He has recovered physically from his stroke about 80%. He washes the dishes and cuts the grass.

Cognition is slow going though. But its cool because it is going. He does puzzles so he can keep his mind sharp. He has done 2 750 piece puzzles and 2 1000pc puzzles.

But here is the good news. Dad was accepted into this cool clinical trial up in Boston. The trial is 6 months so my parents packed up and moved to Brookline MA this weekend.

It was expensive as hell but its well worth. Though the treatment is free.. They had to pay to move to boston and live there. The hospital is in brookline and its close enough for my father to walk.

The level of care is awesome though. He will get speech therapy everyday for an hour and a half.. for free..
As well as numerous MRI's on his brain. Those in the medical field know how much those cost.

Well thats the update.. I get PMs from many of my getbig brothers and sisters and i thank yous all....

Sorry to hear man! I hope they come out with some new technology soon to help stroke patients recover better and faster. I see a lot of them throughout the day at work. Some of them get it so bad they can barely do anything by themselves again. It's a really terrible sad thing to see. It can happen so quick to it scares the shit out of me.
