But some in the “birther” movement, including Trump, still aren’t convinced. Perry said the two discussed the issue and that Trump told him he doesn’t trust Obama’s documents.

“I don’t know,” Perry said when asked if he believed the birth certificate was real. “I had dinner with Donald Trump the other night. ... He doesn’t think it’s real. ... I don’t have any idea. It doesn’t matter. (Obama is) the President of the United States. He’s elected. It’s a distractive issue.”

Perry is a trivial joke now.  He's Trump II. 

His new "I just like to poke Obama, I"m not serious about it..." was pathetic.

The only consolation we, people of common sense, can find in all of this, is that anyone stupid enough to defend Perry will never celebrate his presidential win.  Obama would cream perrry.

perry made a shitload of $ initially - presumably making deals with corporations, ,since many of his donations came in large chunks from corporte donors.

will he repeat that, now that being for sale might not mean all that much, at 6% nationally? 

Does anyone really see perry having the intellectual horsepower to retake the lead?  bwahahahahhaa
