I'm pretty sure Gary actually is 6'2. It's true that his back was weak compared to the other top bodybuilders of his day but it was pretty big during his WBF years:

the bottom clip was on schwarzeneggers superstars of muscle, in that version Gary said from his own mouth he is 5'10 or 5'11. Long time since I've seen it but it was definitely one of those 2 because when he said "I'm very tall" and then came out with 5'10"/11" I thought so not that tall then.

haney was highly criticized as having bad bodyparts, only a chest and back, lots of flaws, etc

but as soon as you put the very complete big guys with great physiques next to haney, all of a sudden they didnt look as great

yes but to be fair he was contest ready in that video. the 6'2 height is probably when he is off season, and then he cuts to 5'10 when pre contest. Makes sense because in a more compact frame he would look more muscular and dense, having a edge against his competition.

Lee is 6'2" he judged a BB contest I was in once in SC. I have met him many times his hometown is Spartanburg SC in da South. I'm in NC redneck country both highly populated with rednecks.
