i read in flex that a company (forgot the name) is coming out with a fish protein powder. supposedly it will be like whey..fast acting with no fish taste at all. the positive is the price, alot cheaper than whey. i know i will try it. any thoughts?

Funny you mentioned this. I googled about this recently and prices are high at the moment. I'm not sure how the market will react about this kind of protein powder. Look at what happened to Goat Milk and Beef protein powders. It didn't rally catch on.

I'd NEVER buy that, especially not if it is cheap!!

With milk, you have sort of an idea where it comes from and what is in it.

If you have "fish powder", you will have all sorts of nasty shit in it that is normally not available for human consumption, it will be sort of surimi in powder form, absolutely disgusting.

If you want fish, buy some tilapia or other white fish frozen, it's cheap and easy to make, or throw it into a mixer with some aroma, this will be much safer than buying "fish powder".

When I started training I was religious about protein and creatine supplements... then after few years I stopped using them because I didn't see any difference, only that I was spending money to other things.

same goes to vitamin/mineral supplements, now days I buy fruits and veggies and make a shake out of them = actual vitamins and minerals right there.

You can't be for sure you really get anything but shit from supplements. All placebo!
