Hurling

Sport of throwing up?

Anyway, depends on the definition. Do you consider a guy who goes out to play football with his buddies 2 times a week a football player? I don't. So I don't consider someone who trains in the gym and calls himself a bodybuilder, a bodybuilder. After all, he does what almost any other athlete does in the gym.

Thus, bodybuilding is a very niche sport.

Hurling is the fastest field sport in the world.

Ancient Gaelic game still played today.

That's a whole different story then!

Pretty much All top track n' field athletes for example make less than top pro bodybuilders.

Same goes with ski jumping, curling... at least here quite popular 'sports' whose athletes can't keep up with pro bb's when it comes to pay day.

I would say that the money they do make they keep as they are not as reliant on gorging on food and taking tons of drugs.

Also Nike are unlikely to ever sponsor a Mr O as they are not athletes and it is not a sport.

I have to give bodybuilding some credit. Because of bodybuilding I know everything about nutrition (well not everything but I know a great deal) and also a great deal about training.

Other than that bodybuilding is completely irrelevant.. it's embarrasing actually.

Training hard, being big and all that it's good, that's not embarrasing.

But the oily ass presentations is embarrasing, the thong up in your ass is embarrasing and I can't believe I watched that shit one time like some would watch NHL and NBA. I constantly read what Jay does, Ronnie does, Ruhl does etc. It was so epic imo.

Now I realise, it's just fucking training. It's 2011, nothing has changed. They all still talk the same crap "Oh people don't understand bodybuilding, I think it's a great sport, it needs discipline and it's like art, people don't understand, it's so magical and philosophical" , oh gee  ::)

A sport is something that requires physical exertion and skill/talent.

A sport is measured by something tangible. E.g. Who scores the most goals. Who runs the fastest. Who throws the furthest etc.

Bodybuilding judging is not. It is wholly subjective. Denying this is idiotic. Idiot.
