Search engines fucking suck now... google and the lot of the fucks...

It's like we've taken a step back instead of forward in progress on the net.  Before, I was a fucking master at searching and finding exactly what I wanted as were many others...  Now it's totally fucked, you enter your search parameters only to find that one or more of the parameters you entered don't even exist on the pages listed?  WHAT THE FUCK?  How is a person making queries to guess around shit that is going to return crap you didn't even query to begin with?  

Before I could instantly narrow it down to exactly the pages I wanted to see right away.  Now they return a billion more pages than I want and I have to take extra steps of subtracting terms to get what I want.

Finding exactly the thing you're searching for is hard to impossible.
I don't know if this has always been the case or there's some fancy things going on behind the scenes.

Making a search engine requires huge amounts of initial investment, mainly due to development, bandwidth, hardware costs. For an engine to be useful it must have data. In order to get it must crawl most of the sites on the internet, this will take huge amount of hardware and network resources. Thats why you need $$$ to start such a search engine.

Bump.  This is just getting worse.  More and more search results come back with sites totally unrelated that don't even have any of your search terms!  WTF!  This in large part is due to google not only searching for your search term but anything and everything that is remotely related and placing those related items as high as your original search term.    I don't want them doing my thinking.  When I'm searching, I know what it is I want and know how to norrow the search down.  They have made it much harder to get the search results you want.

problem is people figured out how this shit works and can have their sites at the top. Plus google went downhill when they went public, now all searches end up being paid advertisers listed first.

I like the way it was before. You could just enter in a combination of search terms and instantly narrow it down to few sites which actually are sites you wanted to find.  You can still do the same thing now but you have to take several extra steps to do it.  They basically made it a bigger pain in the ass to find what you want which makes no fucking sense.

now the assholes at google have fucked it up even more.  They've changed youtube so you can't search by upload date.  Searching by upload date was very useful when major shit goes down.

And now you can't post comments on youtube without giving them your name   Or that's what they want

Why don't you stop crying and build your own search engine? Let me guess, Google and YouTube are required to operate in a manner you deem fit.

Youtube, google, most search engines, ALTER what they present to you, if you search for something they will put out something TAILORED or manipulated, not ALL the results or the most accurate either...

Searching and information presentation is no longer free, accurate or precise... it is manipulated and propagated to you with intended presentation.
