Rick Perry protests "intellectual" analysis of his jobs plan.
« on: October 30, 2011, 10:09:13 PM »
Wallace is right.  Honestly, I don't think Perry understands what wallace is saying here.

PERRY: As president, I'll create at least 2.5 million new jobs, and I know something about that.

WALLACE: But how do you answer this question. Two and half million doesn't keep pace with the population growth. We would -- our unemployment rate would increase under this goal?

PERRY: I don't believe that for a minute. That is just absolutely false on its face. Americans will get back to work. Are we going to go out and make some, you know, claim and say, oh, it's going to create 10.5 million jobs? We would be having the same conversation. Oh, that's not realistic.

The only reason this man was reelected was he ran against a former Houston Mayor...The political reality in Texas is that former Houston Mayors are unelectable in statewide elections.

The only thing more silly than this man believing his own bullshit is that other people out there actually believe it too.

it's so simple.

the population is growing at a rate faster than he promises to create jobs.

that's 7th grade math - I taught it.

Why does Perry get all emotional here?  "That is just absolutely false on its face. "

I know "on its face" is a good way of confusing viewers, but the math is pretty simple to most of us with a 90+ IQ...

which is the only reason I'd vote for him.
I live in Texas; at least we could get him OUT of the state if he wins!

Same type of arguments by creationists to refute evolution.  "But you are giving me facts.  I base my conclusions on my faith and what I believe to be correct."

No wonder the nation as a whole is getting dumber when we put these sorts of people up to lead.  Perry is just another George W. Bush, and we can't take another president like that.
