One good song in their history....."Symphony of Destruction...."  nothing else.

Didn't Mustaine write some of Metallica's older stuff before they sent him packing?

Symphony is ok, but far from their best. I could name at least 20 songs from Megadeth which are superior. Symphony wasn't even their highest charting song, Trust was. Tornado, on the other hand, is easily one of their best, which includes one of the best guitar solos ever in metal, period.

I miss Marty Friedman (in Megadeth) ~ one of the top 10 guitarists in the world. The guy that took his place ain't bad, but he's just basically a clone (if that's even possible)

Marty's solos are by far the most difficult to emulate, especially on "Rust in Peace"

Oh yeah, just the opening riff guaranteed you wouldn't fail.

Can you imagine some twink trying to "work-in" while you got that blasting in your head?

hangar 18 also is an amazing song along with Devils Island.      the Big 4 are still mostly all I listen to.

+ MANOWAR

I saw MEGADETH live this spring and since i've been a fan from the fifth grade it was awesome. Good show too even though Dave had kidney issues.

I remember Marty saying Mustaine taught him how to play a decent solo back in the day, haha. Saw Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax last year and only Mustaine has to be in the band for it to be the real deal.

Metallica however requires those two d-bags as a constant...

I was being a bit facetious.  i like a bunch of their stuff, but I do really like Symphony....I'm a sucker for great openings to songs.  IE: Iron Man by Sabbath, Welcome to the Jungle, etc...
