The American justice system is severely flawed and often over sentences people for crimes...Comparatively against other Western Nations, U.K., Germany, France, Switzerland, we by far, give the highest sentences to people convicted of crimes...In addition we are one of the few left if there are any that uses the death penalty.

I believe in states rights but I believe sentences for all crimes should be federally mandated...IMO there is too much disparity in sentences similiar in nature, modern times but punishments are years different only because of were they were in the same country.

So before your knee jerk American reactions of "let em burn" commence do the research on what I said..Wouldn't be the first time were out of touch on something...

Spending 20 years in prison, and having a general shitty life when you are released fits the crime...Beating a child to death 20 years...I didn't see anywhere where it said those broads totured the child.  If the child was indeed tortured....life.

Let me rephrase smartass...torture with intent to kill. Torture means aguish of body or mind and to cause pain or agony so pretty much anything can be considered torture.

These women cried hysterically because THEIR lives were ruined , they didn't and still don't care about that child , if they were truly remorseful for their actions they wouldn't have shed a single fucking tear when that sentence was handed down , they should have accepted it

It pains me to know these women will go on to enjoy life , yup enjoy. They will be able to laugh , eat , listen to music , watch movies , have relationships , have an orgasm , never have to work again , this is much more than that little girl will ever do

I'm not being a smart ass , torture with the intent to kill , when you beat a child so viciously with a belt & hangers that the only place sans bruises is the soles of her feet , I would say the intent is to kill , what's the intent? to torture until near death? to torture until unconscious? to torture until a 3 year old learned not to pee herself ? seriously? this type of beating produced the result that was obviously intended , death

20 years and they're out? lets say they served a full 20 you honestly can say that was worth the torture this poor defenseless child who finally died from her injuries? I don't think so , I think these women are violent and are a danger to rest of society , especially considering we're not even related to her , imagine what she'd do to the rest of us , then again she wouldn't because adults have a fighting chance.
