world bbing survivor champs, this is like a reality show

its fucking ridiculous, and not really funny, its a shame

3 deaths in a competition, is gonna have a negative media impact guaranteed

I wonder whats gonna be blamed and banned next, due to a few gurus and individuals recklessness

Since it happened outside the US and is an amateur competition there will be no mention of it.

Just got this text from a friend who's in Mumbai at the World Champs...

"F*ck me! 2 other guys died at the hotel yesterday apparently!  We got told this morning three guys have now died... I know guys are pushing things to the limit but I think the added heat and sh#t food really contributed to those guys going over the edge...1 guy after weigh in + 2 guys died after prejudging at the hotel.. One of the waiters/server guys us..

the natural reaction is the diuretics, or some protocol they followed (no fluids, nutrients for long periods), etc

but, it is in a country with extreme heat, known for very bad food poisoning to outsiders... I know its far fetched, but could be something in the water, food...? :-\

I think its a combination of heat, no fluids in the body and diuretics, these guys are playing a dangerous game for no money.

If no one ever did anything involving risk and just laid safe in their beds, we would all still live in stone age.

Stupid comments. People with passion do whatever is required.

the worlds is known for the excessive use of "water elimination".. people love the coditioning these guys bring but to get there they go very overboard in regards to fat burners and diuretics..

Maybe India diuretics are over dosed too?  This is odd.  Or maybe India bodybuilders are hardcore drug users?

business as usual, another day at the office,  nothing to see here folks, move along.

Bad analogy. In racing sports they know the risks and what could happen. Bodybuilding is totally different. EVERYTHING is an experiment and nothing is concrete. This could have been avoided with a little commonsense.

Same could be said about space flights for example!!!

No one guaranteed first guys they would come back. No one. And many indeed blew to atoms.
They sat on top of huge rocket and wished the best.

Are you suggesting space exploring should have never begun  ???

Your logic is quite childish. It's all relative. I think we can all agree that space exploration is really fucking cool and does a lot of good in terms of science etc. Pumping your body full of water manipulating drugs and risk death so you can feed your own narcissism is not really that important in the bigger picture.

Astronauts and cosmonauts take mankind to were its never been before and they make a shit ton of money while doing it. Bodybuilders usually are nothing but drug addicts making little to no money and contribute next to nothing to society.

Yea, maybe not the best comparison but point is.. someone always has to push it forward. To see what happens, to experiment.

Someone in history took the first bite of that deadly poisonous mushroom.
Someone as a first one put his hand in fire to realize it burns.

Those two things still in a way contribute to society. It's knowledge that can be useful for survival or prolonging life.

What does hardcore drug abuse contribute to society? They're obviously free to do whatever they want but don't be surprised when people call them idiots.
