COach, Apparently you and I have mutual friends from back then. I was a friend of Dave's for a short time just prior to his death and when he passed away the cause of his death was some sort of mystery and initially referred to as Legionaire's Disease for some long forgotten reason .... but if I recall correctly Dave had gotten sick after attending some function where Legionaires were gathered for some form of convention ..... and for lack of a better diagnostic, it was initially referred to as Legionaire's Disease.
And I also knew Dave Shawn through Dave Johns and will always remember him (And Dave) as two of the better persons I've met within the weight lifting world. At that time Dave Shaw held a responsible position in Cal working with troubled kids if I recall correctly ... and did a commendable job.
COACH .. I assume you knew SOLO, Rob Johnson, Wayne Bouvier, Harold, Judy, etc. and most definitely RORY back then when he was a real young kid.
Those were good days when the world of bodybuilding was nothing like it is today.
