I created these GIFs. People were comparing today's Phil to late 90s Ronnie, so I used a video of Phil from this past Olympia and Ronnie from the 1998 Grand Prix Finland.

Really. Ronnie Coleman had guys psyched out before they even got to the Mr Olympia. They would say things like oh I guess we're fighting for 2nd place here.

Now don't get me wrong Phil has improved...A LOT...VERY QUICKLY.

If he can do it 8x like Ronnie then I'll put him in the same breath as Ronnie Coleman until then this remains an internet debate that is laughable at best.

Pretty Cool what you did with the videos there.
Ronnie was about 12-15 pounds heavier in the 99 grand prix
with even more separation.
Here's a shot from the back against wheeler and leverone.
Same thing would happen from the front.
Coleman's structure would make Heath look narrow
and he was even more detailed than Heath.
More shoulder, chest and back striations and
pretty even detail wise everywhere else.

He only looks comparable due to the scaling being completely off.  Stand them next to each other and you'd see Phil shrink down like  pair of prepubescent balls. Phil is certainly complete, but side by side he'd get destroyed.

actually, phil next to flex is more realistic.  there are national level middle-weights wider than phil.  maybe you could compare the width of one of ronnie's thighs to phils clavicles.
