http://taxprof.typepad.com/taxprof_blog/2011/06/number-of-us-expatriates.html
I was trying to figure out the scale of this chart but it looks like their is no scale i.e. we're talking about ......literally......hundreds of peoplewe're talking about a fraction of a speck of the populationwho caresbtw - you should really consider joining themYou seem so friggin miserable living here and you hate most of the people in the countryI really think you would be happier if you left
I thought it was in the thousands since that was the number i have read elsewhere floating around.
Last month the Treasury Department published the names of individuals who renounced their United States citizenship or terminated their long-term U.S. residency (“expatriated”) during the quarter ending March 31, 2011. A total of 499 individuals expatriated during this quarter. While 499 is not the highest number of quarterly expatriates in recent history, the quarterly average number of expatriates continues to increase. The following graph shows the quarterly average number of expatriates for the past 4 years
499???I guess that all those doctors who walked off their jobs. They couldn't handle the rioting in the street. So they took their duffel bags and left the US.
if you increased the total one hundred fold it would still be mere speck and keep in mind that number of 499 included long term permanent residents who simply gave up their status and went back to their country of origin.
But... But.... hundreds of thousands.... this article.... Obama..... but... but....
So in other words, another dumbass thread by you that FAILED.Ok, gotcha.
