It is "officially". As weight classes were restructured so were world records. Hypocritical move to get rid of the Soviet Unio Era records by athletes juiced to the gills. Not that these guys are natural but the fact is that they're not near  what soviet experiments were.

Friggin' incredible power, agility and coordination. Crazy athletes. Love it.

I am a competitive powerlifter but have absolute respect for these elite weightlifters. I trained alongside one of Canada's best several years ago and dug what he did at each session. He was very respectful of what I did, as well.

I was watching the comp live and knew he wouldnt fail the attempt, you could feel something was about to happen that would be defining. Hes only 21 / 22 which means theres plenty of time to add 5 - 6KG onto that easily & when the great man is your mentor you cant go wrong. His unique way of lifting is great to watch.
