Sorry I don't have videos about all of my records...  ::)

This is similar, a few month ago...posted a couple of times already...

But it doesn't matter anyway...you can get stronger and stronger without getting any bigger...

I've seen guys in the gym flat press 160 pound dumbbels for 8 to 12 reps and these same guys can't get 405 for 1 rep on the bench press. True Story!

Like 25 pounds in 6 weeks...but I was eating everything...I didn't know too much about nutrition... I remember in pressing movements I increased the weights by 20-25 pounds on the same set in one week.

So for the first time, why would anybody need a stronger cycle...?  ???

Well I'm working out since 1999 and I have never seen anything like that... But who knows. Sounds weird.

Don't be fucking silly. Heavy dumbbells doesn't translate to heavy bench pressing. Same as heavy leg presses don't translate to heavy squatting. If a person doesn't Bench press for months or years at a time, there bench isn't gonna be shit(a few natural freaks aside of course)...We all see the guys in the gym who won't go near the flat bench but will load up the smith machine bench and claim its the same thing. IT ISNT!!!NO EVEN CLOSE!

I know you made a few Youtube video's but I must have missed your flat bench press video's. I think I seen one years ago before you were pro with 315 to 365 on the bench. Never seen one with you with anything over that. Do you have any?

that doesnt make any sense, repping 160's for 12 the way Steve did his reps would make you close to a 455 bencher... even if you rarely did the lift.

True, but you would actually have to get your old form back on the bench first.

trust me on that I stopped benching for yesrs and was inclining some pretty good weight, went back to benches and they sucked by comparison until I found my "groove" so to speak.

I'm not trying to take anything away from Namat that video he posted is impressive, but if what you say holds true, he should be able to put 405 on the bench and get somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 to 12 reps. Now wouldn't that be a video that would look pretty damn impressive for a guy as light as him? But unless i'm missing something, I don't see that video.

that's impressive. most gain 10 to 20. i gained 30, but i was on test and deca. so i'm sure your gains were a lot more quality.

Repping 310 with ease and with very good form is still respectable.
Exactly.

Yeah, as some one mentioned it's #330-

3 pairs of 15kgs, inside plates are 20kgs, and 20 kgs for the bar.

seems like the older a weight lifter gets the less they do flat bench presses on a olympic bench press. most of bodybuilders have done so much flat bench pressing since they were like 14 when they get 30 they usually get some kind of nagging injury and start doing smith machine and never go back to the flat bench press. seen it happen alot!

Benching sucks unless you have a natural propensity for the lift...............takes people eons to realize this and most never do.

Dumbell Inclines
Smith Inclines
Dumbell Benches
Flyes
Seated Bench Machine or Hammer Strength Macine
Crosovers
Pec-Deck

All safer and much better for pec development.

Sadly the kids who max out on the bench weekly trying to somehow reach 300,315,405,500, etc. etc., will never reach their goals just because they don`t have the genetic propensity to be good at benching no matter how hard they work.

You can build big numbers, not huge as you might expect, but more than likely, shoulder injuries will stop you long before you realize the time you wasted.  :(

no the video is from iceland. 15kg plates are common in europe.

it's 140kg...approx 310lbs

In europe they say people who stack the bar with 45's are posers, real men use 25kg plates
