Wow you are simple. It says "6 minutes in". I was stating that he switched to overhand grip after the injury.

Chins 5 sets first two
set 1 and 2 bodyweight 20 reps
set 3 4 5 , 45lb plate 12 reps

old school t bar rows
set 1 - 5 pates 15 reps
set 2 - 7 plates 10 reps
set 3 - 8 plates 10 reps

Dumbell rows pron rows supeset lying rows

set 1 - 110 = lying prone dumbell 50 lb dumbell each hand and squeeze and contract the back
set2 - 130
set 3   160

chins 3 sets

Now this is a nice no bull workout, maybe a bit too much volume..

yes honest workout the hard exercises like chins what guys hate to do
because they are hard guys.
90% ego train so they prefer to do exercises  that are easy and make them look good or so they feel eg instead of chins they would prefer to  do pulldowns and yank the bar down by swinging
thats not too much volumn for me
choice is an illusion

Seems fine for me as the back is a huge muscle group that can stand a heavy workload, with lots of different areas to attack.

Just my 2 pesos!  :)

i agree, i think this whole "overtraining" is a bunch of bullshit started by lazy people who dont want to work, im not saying to do 100 sets but this bullshit of doing 6 sets and then stuffing your face with 5500 calories everyday is just gonna make you fat, 25-30 sets is just fine for a big bodypart like back or legs.

Right.........old school shit still works.

Once a week per bodypart came into vogue, then Mentzers training a bodypart once per year shit, made people lazy, and also they rely too much on drugs instead of training their balls off.

Train hard or fuck off is my motto!

At 56 I can`t go as heavy as I used to,but I train people into the ground unless they have the same mindset as me which is to give it everything I have once I set foot in the gym.

Even with all the training knowledge in the world he could not have gotten that big naturally.

Thing is a lot of people go to the gym to socialise
and talk...
crowding the gym... and holding up people who are really there to train

I know guys at my gym that tell me they train two hours a day and aren`t progressing......the thing is,they are there for two hours, with an actual low intensity workout time of 15 minutes due to talking all through their "workout" !!   ???
