Rory,Boone,Belknap,Austin..........looking good! Thanks ND!  Great pic. The 81 AAU Mr America light heavy lineup. Rory and Belknap, the beauty and the beast as it was written at the time. I thought the guy next to Rory was Billy Arlen. Belknap beat Lance Dreher for the overall. Ive just realised the winners of this AAU America show went to the IFBB world championships where Lance Dreher won the overall. The AAU Mr America traditionally went to London to compete in the NABBA Universe. Looks like 1977 with Dave Johns was the last time it was a NABBA feeder. 1979 Ray Mentzer won the AAU American and competed in IFBB World championships. These guys were just so motivational to get you into the gym. 30 years on I can still remember the names but have not idea who won in the past 15 years. |

Amazing quads. Wanted to be Mayor of Trenton, New Jersey, as I remember. Guess that didn't pan out. |

Be careful posting pics of "The Black Prince"................fucking guy used to send me threatening e-mails telling me to take his pics off of my site or else!  I told him to fuck off,then afterwards when I thought about it more clear headed, I just took them down out of respect for his wishes but he was a complete asshole about it. |
