But Superboy Prime was decked out in the AntiMonitor's armor....soon as that came off he was pummeled. Plus in the multiverse setting the 2nd Aged Superman wasn't as powerful as the normal Earth Superman. Plus, Prime wasn't fighting them 2 on 1...he fought them one at a time. Prime defeated old Supes, but was pummeled by normal Supes. Now Prime did murder a number of 3rd tier superheroes, Superboy fell, he killed a number of Green Lanterns and it took a mass containment unit designed by the lanterns/Guardians housed in a red sun to contain him....so no doubt he's extremely powerful.....but he lost to Superman LOL!!

X-men, Thor, Hulk, Iron Man, Fantastic Four, etc.

Only DC hero I like is the Green Lanterns.
Superman is too powerful, goody two shoes homo.

all other sites listed superman as no one

classic response with the exception of batman piece. loves marvel and only mentions characters that have current major motion pictures. same with GL in dc....has a movie out. classic, normal response on Supes..."too powerful" and a "goody two shoes" (or "boyscout") - yet somehow hulk and thor aren't too powerful LOL. Batman response surprised me.....maybe it's cause the third movie isn't out yet.

The only reason Superman beat him was because the 3 of them lost their powers when they landed on that planet. If they still had kept their powers, Prime would've pummeled both of them, not just the older Supes. Also Prime took on Superman and many others without that armor on and came on top on other issues.

Any way, I don't want to get all geeky with the comic book stuff, I'll give it to you, he lost to Superman......by luck

First comic I ever read was the Death of Superman (Still my fav comic, doesnt mean I love supes)
GL was always my fav DC comic, like I said, Supes is just too goody two shoes and Batman just bores me. IMHO, the GL movie was OK, but I was unhappy considering what they had to work with.
Wolverine, Archangel, Apocalypse, Omega Red, yeah, those later ones were in movies, right? And Wolverine.. Bought my 1st Wolvine comic when I was 7 back in 92.

Cmon MOS, I know you love Superman (Obvious), but just cause someone says he doesnt like him doesnt mean you have to get your panties in a bunch, the fact that my faves HAPPEN to include whats been out recently dont mean shit. BTW, I think the new Hulk is retarded, if you happen to read my other posts.

And Thor is a GOD, damn right I dont think hes too powerful.

Anything else? To me Marvel just has an epicness that DC seems to lack. (To me, anyway)

I understand some why some people don't like superman and batman, then can get a little boring at times to be honest. But marvel also has their share of boring heroes, spiderman or the fantastic 4 to name a few... give me a break those got to be amongst the lamest ever. .

Yeah not a fan of the spiderman, not really into the fantastic four either... But neither of those are marvels flagship heroes like superman and Batman are for DC.

For me, the best marvel has are much more interesting and enjoyable than the best DC has to offer.
Although like I said, GL is right up there as on of my favorites. I'd say my favorite comic is ( in order...)
