how come you were cheering for him a while back

He seems to be regressing.   He is just not acting composed like he used to.

I was cheering for cain back then too.  i have to defend 33 on this one.  he was a helluva saleman with those quick 1-liners in debates that made you think "Wow, he's on top of this!"

I thought he was a very smart man.  I'm sure most voters did too.

Now, it's not even about the shady bs sex claims.  It's about him admitting - and bragging - about not knowing more about a lot of things.  When he says "We need a leader, not a reader"... it's terrible.  Why? Because you need to READ to learn how to LEAD.

You NEED an understanding of how the world works, and how these nations work together and against each other, in order to do a good job as president.  If his repsons is "I will consult my generals on this..."  Okay, that's fine, can we please vote for one of these generals instead of you?  You're the sleepy middleman?  that's it?

Repubs donated money to him.  We all know that we defend a shitty CD we bought because "hey, there are a few good songs on it" or we eat the other half of a bland sandwich, because we did pay $6 for that sandwich.  Cain is that bland sandwich, that shitty cd that ya gotta defend so you don't feel stupid.

Correct.

95%ers can't grasp the concept of changing your mind about a candidate.

LOL....spot on post.  I bought Cain's bs too.  One thing I find sad is that many of the same people who are so critical of Cain and his not really being what we thought he was, are the same people who defend Obama on EVERY issue.  Not you, as I know you are critical, but there are quite a few on here that defend him regardless of anything.

this is exactly why we NEED the debates and the months of campaigning.  So the frauds can be exposed.  If you are intelligent, the people will see it.  Web makes that VERY easy.  Same if you're an idiot.

Romney is the frontrunner, but he's not in the news every day with some bullshit embarassment.
Cain and perry were both out of their league.
Bachmann failed to deliver anything more than stump speeches.
Newt, we shall see.

imagine a world where Perry and Cain skip the GOP debates and win the nomination easily.  Now imagine them melting like this in the GENERAL election against obama?  They can read speeches and throw out glib one-liners when nobody is asking Qs.  But even a "REALLY TOUGH GOTCHA Q" like was obama right on libya... it was 5 minutes of stammering.

Exactly.  And it's not like Cain is a stupid person - far from it.  It's just that not everyone is cut out for prime time.

cain is a great marketing man for a low-cost product.

He puts the shimmer and shine into low-quality pizza.
he puts the gloss and excitement into a 9-9-9 tax plan.

But he is not a strong decision maker.
he doesn't understand global issues.
he is very poor at crisis mgmt.
he is rattled easily.

Championed Palin.  Fail.
Championed Trump.  Fail.
Championed Bachmann.  Fail.
Championed Cain.  Fail.
Championed Newt.  Going to Fail.

But BTW despite all the groveling and crying he did in defending those candidates, claims he is voting for PAUL.   ::)

So 4 in 10 people, in the middle of 3 wars and a great depression, still stand by obama.

4 in 10 will vote for anyone with an (R) by their name.

If Ron paul enters the race as a 3rd, or if obama can convince 1 of 2 of those 10 people that the repubs is incompetent, then he wins.

terrible odds.  Why was bush at 30% and Obama at 40%?

Ok, are you just being a troll?   We have been over this many times.   The base demo vote who would vote for obama no matter what he did is about 40-45%  - that is blacks, minorities, govt workers, communists, eco-nazis, union thugs, gays, etc.

Nice red herring argument.   She would beat obama if she ran.   Obama has alienated so many people - Bernie Madoff would beat obama at this point, although in actuality Madoff is probably more honest than obama

NOW WE KNOW.

Now we know why Cain requested secret service coverage, long before any of the other candidates.

This keeps reporters and people back.
and his campaign might be losing donations, and paying for organization and security is expensive.

The answer is relative to who is the choice.   Compared to what?

Cain in general for POTUS?   No way.

Compared to Obama - sadly - yes.

Are you stupid?  There was no "compared to" part in that question.  Did you see me type Obama or anyone else other than Cain in what you were asked?  We all know you are stupid, but damn... you are putting work into over convincing us here.

Let's try it again.  Either answer Yes or No.  Your response should have no more than three letters in it (YES) if you think so, or no more than two letters (NO) in it if you don't think so.  Easy enough?  Ok, here comes the question again...

Do  you think Cain is competent and qualified to be POTUS?

Remember now, just a yes or no for a response.
