Actually I met him at the 2001 toronto pro, the guy was very nice, well spoken and when he had hair he was a natural guido, so I don't think he was over exposed based on those criteria, and in contest he never placed high, but in real life he looked a lot bigger when I saw him.
I constantly saw him in Musclemag in the 90s, and then there were the stories of hm working out with Dorian, hanging out with Dorian, Dorian, Dorian, Dorian...it's like if Dorian scratched his left nut, Jamo knew about it and could tell a story about it, he was like that Ausst dude who wanted to fight Ernie Taylor.
Jamo may very well be a nice guy, but based on physique alone and exposure alone, I thought he was over-rated, and that space that he took up could have gone to other up and coming bbers, specifically from Canada---Musclemag never really hyped up the good the ones, so you never really heard about them
