I want wall street to succeed. Wall street is Apple, Walmart,  every bank; every car company; every retirement fund and just about any big business that is big enough to employ in huge amounts. If you want Wall street to fail you want this country to fail.  You might not care about Wall Street now but hopefully you will have a decent job some day and then you retirement funds will be fully or partially in the stock market.
 
Yes some on Wall Street make big bucks.  Same as professional athletes and people in show business. I believe that if you work hard and have some luck you will do better than people waiting for the government to take care of them.  I believe that the private sector is better creating jobs than the government. 
 
The only way for the government to become more of a socialist take care of everyone entity is for them to take more of the money from working people and spread the wealth to the lazy non working.  Only roughly 50% of people pay taxes and that number is shrinking.  If you want a bigger government to give everyone health care, unemployment check for years, disability social security checks for every fake ailment you have to tax the workers at a very high rate. The government has no money.  Only workers who pay taxes to the goverment.

I made a lot of friends when i was studying at LSU... and we're still in touch..
the ones that are part of this "occupy wallstreet" crap are the ones who spent 2 years in college looking for a major they "liked", and not something that was in demand in the market... one of them is a history major and graduated with a 2.2 GPA and expected to make billions... LOL (although i'm all for it when it comes to the undeserved bonuses... basically a false sense of entitlement, while actually getting what you think you're entitled to get... when the bums on the street have a false sense of entitlement and not getting it)

I am pro military and pro soldier as it pertains do defending us, but unfortunately the modern military is primarily used as pawn to do the bidding of corporate America.  The soldiers are not the ones to blame because they are sent their by our politicians, and they are prepared and willing to fight a justified war if the need arose.  This is where the issue is because many Americans can't see soldiers as heroes while fighting in an unjust "war." 

And yes I agree we are all pawns, but the difference is that if you work in a syringe factory you are not putting your life on the line under the guise of defending your country.  You are just working a job.

I work in fucking law enforcement.O well good for my brother, but I'm grateful and happy with what I have. I dont protest my brother or ask him to buy me shit.Things can always be worse. I just have a prejudice against soldiers, I have had negative experiences with ex-army in the workforce and find them to be very rigid in their thinking, very inflexible, and under certain conditions, not suited to civilian duties.  And my dislike of soldiers is the same feeling I have towards current Western Policing, they abuse their authority and innocent people suffer all because some bullied kid grew up and is looking to take out his insecurities on someone else, and due to the low re-numeration, these are the type of people authority organisations attract - boofheads - with a shoot first ask questions later attitude.  Anyway, the civilian living his dream job, isn't working for and organisation that kills people.  I'm all for defending borders, but just occupying anywhere you want for any reason you want gets a bit much, and then getting the politicians to sell us all some BS like we are all idiots, knowing there is not one thing a civilian can do to stop their Presidents involvement in War Crimes.  The current soldiers are part of that corrupt system.  So, Not a fan

On a side note how many successful people started at the bottom working their ass off? Get a janitor job, work at a fast food place; there is worth in all jobs.   To be successful you have to make your own luck with work.  I'm retired at 52 after working most holidays and getting 4 hours sleep after working through the night.  I have had some kind of job since I was in the 7th grade. I started picking garbage and weeds along an airport road for minimum wage during college.  I'm not rich now but I live in a really nice house with a real  basement gym that I think is fantastic.
