"Finally!!! I have been dying to make this announcement but as of this morning it is official and I am a Weider/AMI athlete!! To say it is an honor to be a part of this great team would be the understatement of the century since Flex is the first Muscle magazine I ever bought and now you will find me on the pages of it as well as online every month! I cannot believe I am on the same team of athletes as Mr Olympia Phil Heath, Kai Greene, Flex Lewis, and many more. Be on the lookout for some video's with me training with these great champions in the near future."

Weider/AMI is proud to announce the signing of I-FORCE Nutrition sponsored athlete Dusty Hanshaw. Dusty has moved up the ladder in the NPC on a mission achieve pro status. He is one of the hardest working NPC athletes there is and each year continues to make improvements. FLEX ONLINE has already started a video campaign, which will feature Dusty’s offseason preparation, which will lead into the 2012 Nationals. Be sure to check out FLEXONLINE for regular exclusive videos of Dusty’s training. AMI/Weider welcomes Dusty to FLEX MAGAZINE. as you can see friends,, it is all in who you know,, the hook ups you have for hormones,, but in the end of the day it is what yo ubring to stage ...you cant cheat a hormone respond lol this is the problem,, but! as you can see here if you are in enough ,,, if you kiss ass to whomever needed,, if you have enough money to spend on gh ...if you are lucky enough to get gh sponsored to you...you can make some smal money from bodybuild

place 10! in nationals and got weider contract! usualy 10 in national is no one to ever hear rom again ,, look at tropopino,, he place 10 or 12 or 8 or how ever ...no one ever cared,, it is ALL in the conections and all in what you do for me i give you back in return ,, it has a lot fo do with hormone supply too

Dusty is a popular competitor here in Arizona and California, and has a following. He guest posed in the 2011 NPC Border States in San Diego three weeks before the NPC Nationals and was way off. Although he said he will be up there for the contest. He placed 10th at the NPC Nationals, did not even pose at night. But something must of clicked with Weider/AMI?

Do they see any potential in Dusty? Is there a chance that given his Super Heavyweight muscularity and physique, he may just come into the NPC USAs or the NPC Nationals next year and win the entire show? Or is it because he is an I-Force contracted athlete and perhaps they may choose to advertise more too...

Well, it can be done.

Last year, at the 2010 NPC Nationals, a bodybuilder called Todd Jewell placed 9th in the Super Heavyweight class. No one ever though he would come back the next year, and win not only his class but the overall.

Never say never.

Whilst Dusty doesn't present the most aesthetic looking physique he does have great muscularity and conditioning. He has real, hard and defined muscles which really sets him apart in the current lineups.

I can almost see your point.......why not one of the winners of the classes at the Nats, or at least Todd Jewel,but you sound bitter.

You should be happy for a fellow bodybuilder who`s getting a break for Christs sake.

You know it`s not easy to get exposure or coverage in this sport..........why hate?

how am i soiund bitter? i point out something here that give other hope,, i say 10 place in national and weider contract...that = knowing the right fellas,, as simple as that

It`s always been that way..............chemica l warfare!

Lots of guys using less juice, could have beaten other guys using more juice, if they were both using the same amounts.

If you have the time, the physique and the genetics, yes, you can devote a lot of time to building your physique. Dusty also has a following, is out there, a contracted I-Force athlete, and is not just another bodybuilder hiding in the gym every day.

Was it surprising to see him get a contract - yes, since there are others who placed higher, but like I talked about Todd Jewell, you never know.

Well Dusty is looking good at the gym and at photoshoots also his vids are very entertaining, so maybe he is not pro quality, but he's def doing good job for the cult from this aspect.
