California Thanksgiving-Thanksgiving Elsewhere Is Not Thanksgiving!

Yes, these next few days are days to be spent with family and loved ones.  Let's sit back and enjoy the best beers and puff the best cigars and give thanks for what we have. 

These next few days I'll be taking a self inventory and setting goals for the upcoming year.  What will I do better?  What am I willing to sacrifice?  What will I give in return?  I'll be working on all these areas in my life to achieve greatness:  Spiritual, Relational, Financial, Physical,  Mental and Social.

If you're lucky to be in my vicinity, stop by, say hello and share a beer with me.  We'll talk shop/GetBig, Nasser, Trucks etc. etc......

This year, I'm going to join our American cousins and celebrate Thanksgiving the old fashioned way. By which I mean I'm going to invite all my neighbours round for an enormous feast, kill them all and then take their land

Right now I'm making my famous butternut squash.  Cooked one 16lb Turkey yesterday.  The 30lb turkey is in the oven.


Just thought GetBig would like the updates.

UPDATE:  Stuffing is made and I am basting the turkey every 20 minutes.  The skin is taking on a lavish golden brown look....outstanding!

Was supposed to be raining here in Los Angeles, but the sun is shinning, at least this morning.  Dinner tonight with brisket, turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and of course, pies (for about 15-20 people).   With friends and the family.

Yes, it is a beautiful day here in Sunny California.  about to take the Turkey out of the oven right now.


I hope all GetBiggers are with the one's they love and if not, are thinking of them....

x's 2..thanks ron..even when I'm visiting family in a house full of aunts asking me non stop 'when are you getting married' and little kids running everywhere shitting there pants. I can still run down to hide in the basement and hook up to the wifi and get back to reality that is getbig

When I first read that, I thought it said "was supposed to be training here in los angeles" then I remembered you don't train and yet, still have this weird obsession of looking at  men in little underwear with big muscles  :-\ :-\
