That has nothing to do with smarts. Chick got his pro card by competing against the best amateurs in the USA. Richards took (what some would call) the chicken way out, by using his dual-citizenship and winning a show that a crackhead could have won.

Notice how we've never seen any other Nigeria national champion turn pro, before or since Richards did. And, as stated earlier, when Richards loses to smaller but better-conditioned competitors, he throws a hissy fit.

Furthermore, he got an undeserved special invite to the '92 Olympia; yet he STILL didn't show up.
