Looking at how big this dude was back in th 80's and the fact that gh or slin was not that prevalent! do you think Victor built most of his mass on AAS? Therefore disproving the accepted believe that Gh is an essential part of getting to be 290lb mark in single digit bodyfat % 's??

Its an interesting question. However Bobby Jones(golfer) won 7 major championships but never turned professional. Saying something like "sports are a hobby not a profession". He quit competing at the age of 30. And became a lawyer and helped build the great Augusta National golf course. The dude is one interesting mofo.

The guy played the system better than you and got his win -rigged for sure but that can be said about how tons of other people got their pro win in the last 20 years

I saw him at a seminar and he was really fat and out of shape! stayed covered up the whole time & was very disappointing! When the question was asked why he didnt compete he said he didnt want to turn out like people like mike menzer who he allege's ran down the motorway with no clothes on and says competing just fucks up your head!!!!

Most recent pics of him show him with huge and fairly lean arms...but, I guess it depends on what your definition of fat and out of shape is.

Not quite...Its obvious youve never competed, because you still cant see the obvious.

I was never trying to "play the system"...I was trying to EARN a pro card....by beating the BEST, not back-dooring my way to one by "playing the system", getting the second pro card, getting it from the Masters div...etc.

What made the card valuable was the fact that I did it...legitimately...by winning not just my class, but the OVERALL title...nothing was handed to me, gifted to me, or made up for me.  Vic Richards never faced ANYONE...just some ficticious show, against a bunch of guys who had never seen the inside of a gym...which gave him ZERO respect.  

That said...if you never step on stage to COMPETE as a Pro, then youre not a pro, simple as that...all he was, was "Pro eligible"...as he was never granted a card, and never competed....

kind of like having your lerners permit to drive, but not passing the test...you STILL dont own a valid drivers license...

Since I suppose his "best" dieted down wasnt good enough to step on stage at the Nationals or USA..I guess the answer would be ME.
