I see you are learning simple chinese which is used by most of people in mailand china.

I like traditional chinese, but it is too hard to learn how to write them.

新年快乐! I studied a semester of traditional characters in the States. It was a lot more difficult. I see the traditional Characters when I　visit HK.

99 percent are great. I get some dirty looks from men when I'm with a Chinese woman, but I guess that's to be expected.

Sometimes I get treated better than other Chinese people. For instance, my landlord let me spread my deposit out over the first two months. He said he wouldn't do this for Chinese people, only foreigners (which made me a little uncomfortable, tbh). A foreigner who comes here is above a lot of suspicion that others might get.
