True.  I really don't care.  Had horse meat in France once, didn't know until afterward.  Was kinda weird.

Another thing that's very popular is donkey meat.

Haven't eaten that either, that I know of, anyway.

It was a nice ass. Just about perfect without flowing over.

The hard drink in China is 白酒 (bai jiu) which translates literally to white wine. But this shit is stronger than whiskey. I can't stand it but it's a big Chinese tradition and they always want you to drink it. A lot of Chinese have to 'save face' by not turning down baijiu, but I will turn it down in a second. I can literally smell it from ten feet away.

I really like Qingdao beer and it's very cheap here. I can get about a 40 oz for 80 cents.

I'm not even sure what Wushu is, but I'm guessing it's some kind of kung fu? I wouldn't even know where to learn something like that. Even if I saw it advertised, I would assume it's bullshit.

The Chinese know the foreigners stereotypes of China very well and will take you on something like that. A lot of shopping in China is done through bargaining, but they will always up the price if they see a white guy. It's best to take a Chinese friend with you and hide around the corner while they buy it for you.

Only time I got that was from food poisoning.

I don't eat a lot of Chinese food. Maybe about 25 percent of my diet is Chinese and that's the really simple stuff - noodles, rice, eggs. I'm actually not a big fan of Chinese food and hardly ever eat it in the States.

There's a ton of foreign food available if you live in a big city.
