Kid, I love the guy. I'm a Florida alumn and want to see him do well, but the reality is that he is being way, way, way overhyped!
And doesn't matter which way the the jets traveled, facts are it was horrible scheduling by the league and a big advantage to the broncos

Tebow has always been overhyped.  But he's flat out not turning the ball over.  As long as they don't play a team that hangs 25+ in a game, they have a very good shot to win.  And it does make a difference what way a team travels.  The numbers are there. i'm also a florida alum.  C/O 2005

The passing game has been atrociously out of sync. Either Tebow misses his receivers or he hits them and they drop it.

Agreed, but he throws some really good balls too.  He's also throwing to a bunch of nobodies.  It can be downright painful for me to watch him play, but he is straight up winning games.

85' bears had a great offense that year. Look at the stats. They also had walter payton. Not sure if you've ever heard of him.

Well in the 3 playoff games it looked like this

game 1= 21-0
game 2= 24-0
game 3= 46-10(Superbowl)

I'd say the defense giving up just 10 points in 3 playoff games won them the superbowl . Not Jim McMahon's regular season stats of 56.9 comp% with 2392 yards and 15 TD's with 11 INTS. Peyton was a beast for sure with over 1500 yards/4.8 per carry. But it was the defense that made all the other teams play from behind.

They certainly weren't a one trick pony but having a defense that can stop anyone at any given time allows the offense to mix things up and do anything they want and not have to worry about playing catch up. The Patriots and Colts would have 2 to 3 more Super bowls if they could bring their regular season game into the playoffs and only play with a lead regardless of the defense. But thats not how the playoffs work.

Is Joe Namath considered a winner? He only won one title. He had more loses than wins (62w-63L) and he had more INT's (220) than TD's(173). And not even 30,000 yards(27,663) And in 1999 he was ranked 96th top 100 players to ever play the game.

I could just as easily make the argument that their run game being as good as it was allowed them to control the pace of the game and keep the defense fresh by keeping them off the field, avoiding long drives. And by the same token, keeping the opposing team's offense off the field, in turn limiting possession and the ability to put up points.
