And the rest of his body has shrunk compared to his former shape, which is why his calves look bigger. Doubt they've actually grown since he retired, when they were about the same throughout the 90s.

In an interview , he said he hasn't trained his calves in 3 years ( at that point ) and they were still better than anyone who is competing today

calves are one of those muscles that once you build they tend to stay like Arnold.
