I said it alrdy in some previous thread about that very same matter (looks like they pop randomly every 2 or 3 months), it's somewhat reassuring to think we re not "alone", because it would be too depressing to realize we actualyl might be... Our brain is designed, wired, hope there s something more, something different, something, someone new to discover, but it might be an illusion. Maybe mankind just gets reseted every once in a while, everything is lost, and few remaining survivors start it all all over again and again and again. Maybe we ll never leave earth.
Maybe we re just animals doing the same things all over again and again and again, generation after generation, without any other purpose but to do it indefinitely.
How would you feel if you learned that space was actually empty, if you learned we were actually really alone ?
