« on: December 06, 2011, 03:09:45 AM »

Nope - Stark Ostmen - Clothing line is laid out for the - Republican - Pro Gun military little counter culture American.
Its a little laid out to be Viking inspired hence Ostmen (Settlers from Norway in Ireland - Vikings - called them self Ostmen apose to northmen which I didn't like) - I want to be very careful not to come accross as another Skinhead - Right wing Thor rune clothing line.

First layout:

www.unit731.net/shop

Its always the same with me, took me three run ups before I was happy with Apacheclips, I am never fully happy with something until I really think its worth while - but I am starting to like the Stark Ostmen idea even if a lot of you will call me crazy lol, hey I had a lot of people ridiculing me as well when I started Apacheclips and promised me that I will not be able to stay online for more than a few month, and we just celebrated our third aniversary and is now one (or the) of the biggest military video webpages (don't count in LL they deal with all kind of media - and there one more webpage but they are backed by the US military.

;D

I couldn't find any similar T shirt on the net - so had to do it :D

But seriously, its a lot of fun - and I have learned shitloads by reading and reading.
its defiantly possibly to make money with it.
My problem is that I keep changing my mind until I am super super confident.

No I haven't, but I have started my own business... be prepared, it's a lot of work, but if it works out, you get to be your own boss and make more money.

I would be interested to see Johnnynonames clotheing line.

The man takes note from the modern fashion industry, is a very vain man himself so how he would mutate that idea of a modern fashion to his own idea would be a win for sure... men need better jeans! Everything has to be custom made for it to fit, fucking bullshit. Just because women consume more money on clotheing doesn't mean that men have to pay houndreds of dollars more to have the equal quality.

jnn, if you're reading this, t hink about it. You're more clever than i am, you could do it.

JNN clothing line is a sequinned thong, just do not wear low rise jeans with it as he does.  :D or you get mistaken for a hotty Asian girl with a man pussy. (No homo/tranny)

If he is able to make it look manly and heterosexual at the same time while having the sex in it.... I would buy it.

like the jeans in calvin&klein now days they are fucking brilliant... little under 200 euros a p's, though.

honestly, if I were to start a clothing line it would be just very high quality and subtle

I admit that I tend to were things are my be considered ostentatious at times but that is just for shock effect

I would never get into formal wear

I would like to do mens underwear that feels great and looks good BUT doesn't look gay

I like 2(x)ist but that brand carries a HEAVY gay stigma.

In closing, I want to say that I would only start a clothing line if i felt I could contribute something to the fashion community.  However, we live in a time where several fashions trends and styles are popular at the same time.  I mean, when I was growing up, you were either wearing "Hip Hop" style or you would be considered uncool.  Now, it's like the skinny jean crowd, the hip hop crowd, the prep crowd can all be popular at the same time.  Shit, you can have a shitty hairstyle and be considered trendy because you have a shitty hairstyle.

I love the name but you'll be out of business before you know it....some kid will buy the shirt, commit suicide and you will spend the rest of your life in court defending yourself because the parents will sue claiming its your fault and you put the idea in their kid's head

i am thinking of starting an ebay store and buying up boxes of last year's clothing from NYC-specific brands then flipping it on the interweb, then i would like to transition into selling my own t-shirt designs, have not figured out which retailers to contact yet but that shoulnt be difficult

i dont like the idea. the manufacturer makes a buck or two per piece, and the retailer doubles his money. i have my own gym line, but i am also the retailer. i was also the western canadian rep for Mike Christians Platinum Everywhere line.
