Has anyone of you actually started their own clothing line?

i dont like the idea. the manufacturer makes a buck or two per piece, and the retailer doubles his money. i have my own gym line, but i am also the retailer. i was also the western canadian rep for Mike Christians Platinum Everywhere line.

perfect!!  if you are retailing the line and getting them basically for the blank item cost plus the time of screening then you can make upwards of triple your hard costs per item.

it has to be frustrating as a manufacturer to wholesale items at $12 dollars that cost you $9 dollars, and see the retailer charging $29 for that item.

The fabric is top of the line. I use the same blank t-shirts that Affliction, Ed Hardy etc. use and use waterbased screen printing ink for a smooth as hell feel. I also use Gold, Silver and Red Foiling on different shirts.
