True...I remember seeing Soundgarden in manhattan back in 95. Chris Cornell was an unbelievable singer back then, he could knock down walls with his voice.  i recently saw him performing again...and it was just sad, the guy croaked his way through some new stuff, his voice was SHOT...very depressing
